JOAN HARNISH
JOAN HARNISH
Born in California, Joan holds a degree in Political Science from UCLA and a double Masters MBA/MIM. With a dynamic career in International Management and Marketing, she has built a reputation for combining strategic insight with cultural fluency across global markets.
Joan is a passionate wine professional and holds the prestigious titles of DipWSET, Weinakademiker, and Sommelier. She is also a WSET Level 3 Certified Educator, an Ambassador for Italian Wines through Vinitaly Academy, and an International Wine Judge. She also loves guiding and educating groups interested in wine tourism.
Joan brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to wine education and appreciation. Blending business acumen with wine expertise, she continues to lead, teach, and inspire in the world of wine and international consulting.
TEILA BRUNAT
Teila is a winemaker and sommelier by profession. Born in Toronto (Canada) and raised in Lleida (Spain), her winemaking journey has taken her across the globe. She currently splits her time between Australia and Spain, working on her own projects and wine label.
Her path has given her a deep understanding of the global wine landscape. What sets Teila apart is not just her expertise—shaped by her studies including WSET Level 3, Certified Sherry Wine Specialist (CSWS), Italian Wine Scholar (IWS), and Canary Islands Wine Ambassador—but also her strong sense of commitment and organizational talent.
Teila doesn’t just know her craft; she lives and breathes it, always striving to grow and improve. She embodies the perfect mix of passion and dedication, bringing a personal touch to everything she teaches.
